Location
The word "Umina" was derived from the Australian Aboriginal word meaning Place of sleep, 90km or just over an hour out of Sydney on the beaches of the NSW Central coast, just 250 metres down the trail from South Umina Beach

Just over 1 hour north of Sydney at the southernmost point of Ocean Beach (Emerald Cove) we are a 250 metre walk off the beach, if you prefer a small private beach we are 3km short rock walk to Pearl beach.
You are surrounded by the beach & Brisbane Waters National Park

Umina's long sandy beach is one of Central Coast’s most popular beaches, ideal for swimming & surfing.
Nearby Mt. Ettalong Lookout offers spectacular panoramic views of Umina & Ettalong as well as south across Broken Bay down to Palm Beach. Don't forget your camera.

Situated on the Woy Woy Peninsular (known to locals as ‘The Peninsula’), Umina Beach is a thriving coastal town with one unbroken sand shoreline. An absolutely stunning beachside paradise on the Central Coast.
